Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
Placeholder notice. Padel Pulse is operated as a prototype.
This Privacy Policy will be replaced with a fully reviewed version before paid services
launch or any external marketing campaign begins. For data requests, contact
info@padelpulse.pro.
1. Who we are
Padel Pulse ("we", "us") operates a directory of padel clubs and tools for players
and clubs to interact with that directory. This policy describes what personal data we
collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It applies to anyone who uses
the Service.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
Information you provide
- Account data — name, email address, mobile number.
- Preferences — hubs you follow, clubs you have hearted, notification
preferences, demographic data you may choose to provide (age band, gender, level).
- User Content — reviews you write, photos you upload, and any messages you
send through the Service.
- Club admin data — if you claim a club, the data you submit to verify your
role and the edits you make to your club's profile.
Information collected automatically
- Device data — browser type, device type, operating system, approximate
location derived from IP address.
- Usage data — pages you view, actions you take (e.g., search, add a hub,
heart a club), and timestamps. We use this in aggregate to improve the Service.
Information we obtain about clubs
- Publicly available data about padel clubs from Google Maps, the clubs' own
websites, and other public sources. This is used to build directory listings,
not user profiles.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Provide the Service — sign-in via magic link, save your followed hubs and
hearted clubs, render your dashboard.
- Send a monthly hub digest (you can opt out at any time).
- Send transactional emails — claim confirmations, security alerts, sign-in
magic links.
- Process club claims and verify ownership.
- Operate, secure and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show you targeted advertising.
4. Legal basis (EU / UK residents)
If you are in the EU, the UK or another GDPR-equivalent jurisdiction, we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, improve it, and run
product analytics.
- Consent — for non-essential communications. You can withdraw consent
at any time from your profile.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Service,
under contracts that limit their use of the data:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Resend (or similar) — sending transactional and digest emails.
- Netlify — website hosting.
- Google — Maps and Places APIs are used to display map tiles, satellite
and Street View imagery. Public club data shown comes from Google; user-level
personal data is not sent to Google by us.
- Anthropic — AI services used to summarise public club information.
No user-level personal data is sent.
We may also share data when required by law, in connection with a corporate
transaction (e.g., acquisition), or to protect rights, property and safety.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you
signed in, remember your preferences, and run the Service. We do not use third-party
advertising cookies. A more detailed cookie list will appear here before launch.
7. How long we keep data
Account and profile data: for the lifetime of your account, plus a reasonable period
to deal with disputes and legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial
records, less for everything else). Anonymous usage data may be retained longer for
product analytics. You can request earlier deletion of your account at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.
- Complain to a supervisory authority (e.g., the Singapore Personal Data
Protection Commission, or the data-protection authority in your country).
To exercise these rights, email info@padelpulse.pro
with the subject "Data request".
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — encryption in transit and
at rest, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, and regular review of our
service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we
discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in line with applicable
law.
10. International transfers
Padel Pulse is operated from Singapore. If you access the Service from outside
Singapore, your data may be transferred and stored outside your country. We use
contractual safeguards (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable)
to protect data transferred to other jurisdictions.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect
personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided
personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated policy here and
refresh the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated by
email or via a notice in the Service.
